This ‘prahvincial’ life in a photo montage

It’s been a while. So let’s recap, shall we? Time for…

PHOTO MONTAGE. CUE THE MUMFORD:

First we took a little field trip around the neighbs, and waved hi to everyone working through the 4th holiday here:

"Hope y'all figure out that whole debt ceiling thing!"

Walked over to Eastern Market and almost bought all of these:

oooooooo, ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Developed a full-flung crush on the public transportation:

What a jawline.

Then remembered it was almost the Fourth of July and baked this:

Peach & Blueberry pie. A Martha Stewart Original.

Took off my apron in just enough time to rekindle my love with these ladies:

They've got great hair, right?

Watched some fireworks with them later from up here:

No, this isn't Spain, silly. It's Columbia Heights!

Truly knew I was working in Chinatown when I discovered the store next door is selling these:

If you smell something in Chinatown. It's probably ginseng... being burnt... somewhere.

Oh yeah, and remember Comcast? They called me up one day, and were like, “Yo, we read your blog, can we give you some money?” And I said…

Found this lady chillin’ on The Sartorialist. I’m sorry, but the cig makes it:

… I am now covering a bunch of Canadian markets at work. Who’s a happy girl?

James Harrison is still an a-hole football player. Netflix raised their prices. I’m still not tan. And yes, I really miss this guy:

*keyboard smash of cute overload

Tony Kornheiser said it first, but I say it better. Good night, Canada.

Hockey season starts soon, right? RIGHT?
